Detroit artist Brooklyn Queen speaks to young people who are going through challenging situations in her emotional visual for "No Destination". In times when everything seems so uncertain, Brooklyn tackles some serious topics on the track.
"I wanted a song that people can relate to, talking about situations that are sometimes hard to talk about," Brooklyn explains. "I thought of things I know my friends go through, like sitting in your room not wanting to be bothered, because you feel no one pays attention or understands. Or being a kid and getting touched against your will, whether it’s by a stranger or a family member. Also, I wanted to acknowledge the people who get treated badly because of the color of their skin, or their sexuality. Overall, I want to reach kids, teens, and even adults that no one makes songs about. And just remember, whatever you're going through, you're not alone”
"No Destination" marks Brooklyn Queen's 11th single release in 2020 via Detroit-based label BMB Entertainment. In the past four years, Brooklyn has earned an audience of millions between her social media and music channels with her personable engagement. Needless to say, the 15-year-old performer's focus is solid, with no sign of slowing down.
